APOKATASTASIS Open Space Performunion und Freundinnen. Eine Homage an Judith Malina und das Living Theatre. (English version below) Judith Malina starb am 10. April 2015. In unseren Augen ist sie eine der bedeutendsten KünstlerInnen und politischen Aktivistinnen der Gegenwart, eine unserer wichtigsten Mentorinnen und Inspirationsquelle. Ihr Tod ist für uns Anlass eine Sequenz aus der revolutionären und visionären Living Theatre Produktion aus den 1960er Jahren „Paradise Now“ wieder entstehen zu lassen. Es ist die „The Apokatastasis“. Sie wurde geschaffen um als ein Geschenk für zukünftige Generationen weitergegeben zu werden.  Wir trauern und haben das starke Bedürfniss diese Arbeit jetzt in Bertlin wieder zu zeigen, im Andenken an Judith Malina, dem großen Vermächtnis mit dem sie uns und die Welt der pazifistischen politischen Kunst beschenkte und geschuldet der unendlichen Aktualität von Kriegen in unseren Tagen. Diese Performance makiert auch unser 10jähriges Bestehen als Performancegruppe, die bisher auf jedem MYFEST, seitdem es existiert, aufgetreten ist. english: A tribute to Judith Malina and The Living Theatre Because of the recent death of Judith Malina, (April 10th, 2015,) in our estimation one of the most influencial artists and political activists of our times, one of our most important mentors and inspirations, and because our current theme for this years Month of Performance Art -B Anthology is, in fact, the question of „Repertory,“ we have decided to reenact a sequence from The Living Theatre created in the 1960’s from the revolutionary and visionary production „Paradise Now“.  It is called, „The Apokatastasis,“ and was designed to be a gift to future generations and passed along. We are in mourning, and feel strongly the urge to perform this work as a tribute to her, and because the time is essential to show work in Berlin again now and honor the great gifts that Judith Malina has given to so many of us, and to the world of pascifist political art.
